About S.D.C. Foresters

Samuel D. Craig, Jr., FICF is a native of Selma, Alabama and graduated
from Tuskegee Institute in Tuskegee, Alabama. After graduation, Sam
taught physical education and coached football and basketball at Tuskegee
High School and Auburn High School. He also served as the Athletic
Director at Tuskegee High School.

Sam Craig has always been a vigorous community activist and a diligent
church leader. Mr. Craig participated in the 1965 Selma to Montgomery Civil
Rights March in Alabama. He has served as the Executive Director of the
Glenville Branch YMCA from 1974 through 1981. He is a Life member of the
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., a member of the Masonic Masons F & AM,
and a past member of the Northeast Community mental Health Board of
Trustees. Sam currently serves as a deacon of the Antioch Baptist Church
in Cleveland where he was named Man of the Year in 1995. He is also an
active member of the Nordonia Hills Chamber of Commerce.

For the last 27 years Sam has been a financial representative of the
Foresters, a family fraternal benefit society, where he also served as the
District Manager. He is now an independent agent and broker, allowing him
to provide additional services to clients and members. Sam currently holds a
life, health, variable annuity, and Series 6 and 63 licenses. In addition, Mr.
Craig is a member of the National Association of Fraternal Insurance
Counselors and has received both his FIC and FICF designations. In July of
2008, Sam's son Sedrick joined the business and their goal is to provide
practical solutions to individuals and families most pressing problems
through the use of life insurance, other financial services, and fraternal
benefits.
